We thought we'd share a little bit about ourselves...

Rushab grew up around his dad's shop on Portobello Road, surrounded by the most unique vintage clothes from the 70's and 80's from his business. He studied Mechanical Engineering at University and currently works at an Engineering Consultancy that designs and develops clean sustainable technologies for the transport industry to achieve Net Zero. He loves to keep busy, be it playing sports, socialising or coming up with crazy ideas, he puts 100% into everything he does. 

Inspired by his parents' entrepreneurial drive, he set up Portobello Vintage Market to bring those forgotten items that lived in Portobello Road for up to 50 years to you online today. Rushab drives the strategic and operational aspects of the business, constantly seeking better ways to do things to help drive sustainable growth and help bring Portobello Road to you.

Holly has always loved sustainable, preloved or deadstock items that are already in the system. Having set up a successful Depop shop whilst studying in Geography and Environmental Sciences, the circularity of fashion has always an area of interest. Having spent a few years in a corporate role, she discovered her creative calling and stepped away from that world to pursue her true passion for ethically sourced, sustainable vintage clothing with a bohemian Indian twist.

Alongside the shop, she has been managing a green record label and event series and runs the Facebook marketing for a number of brands. All while taking the lead on the front end of Portobello Vintage Market. Holly is the visionary behind the aesthetics of the brand, curator of the collections and styles the photographs whilst also managing the social media, customer queries and all sales channels.
